Inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's Prequel to the Lord of the Rings: The Silmarillion. A spiritual, mystic journey music: of mind, mythology & the soundscapes of Nature. The Epic "Love Story" of BEREN & LUTHIEN has unique versions, this being the chordal melodic form in mostly solo composition, originally created by a psychedelic Post-Progressive Rock band called The Fellowship of the Ring, (of New Jersey, with Joseph Erik Galione & Alan Bruggeman. Other incarnations of this project featured other talents such as Sean Egan, David Hilla, Matt Fordny & Peter Lister +.) . . . Many Legendary performances at theaters, clubs, bars, colleges, amphitheaters, cafes, barns, basements, & the woods.
Musical inspirations include Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, Genesis, Stravinsky, Bach, Coltrane, Rush, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, King Crimson & The Mahavishnu Orchestra . . . This album is a blueprint/demo of a developing electric SYMPHONY orchestra coming to fruition . . . This is a mostly acoustic rendition of a neo-classical/ medieval epic that retells the dark & esoteric love story of the human mortal Beren & the elvish Princess Luthien Tinuviel, during the 2nd age of Middle Earth, thousands of years before the Shire of the Hobbits . . .
